赵峰，2000年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学，2002和2006年硕士、博士毕业于香港中文大学多媒体实验室（导师：汤晓鸥教授），2006至2018年，先后在香港、新加坡、英国知名高校从事科研和教学工作，历任博士后、副研究员、研究员、讲师和终身副教授，2019年作为“国外高水平人才”被引进中国科学技术大学信息科学技术学院类脑智能技术及应用国家工程实验室，担任教授和博士生导师。

研究方向包括人工智能、机器学习、计算机视觉、图形处理、医学图像分析、模式识别、类脑视觉等，在核心国际期刊和重要学术会议上发表SCI、EI论文50余篇，包括一区期刊IEEE Transactions (TMM, TRGS, TCAS-I)、IEEE JBHI、JSSC、Pattern Recognition和CCF A类会议IEEE CVPR、ACM MM等，第一作者论文单篇被引用最高170+次，获得ICIDM 2018最佳论文奖、2019商汤访问学者、2019新创学者、IJCAI-PRICAI 2020 3D实例分割国际挑战赛冠军、CVPR 2021 Streaming Perception 2D图像检测比赛全栈赛道亚军及UG2+低光人脸检测竞赛季军、2021王宽诚育才奖等荣誉，作为课题负责人、合作者或核心人员，申请和承担多个大型科研项目。

Feng Zhao received the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2000, and the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in computer vision from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He then worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow, Research Fellow, and permanent Senior Lecturer in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Since 2019, he has been with the School of Information Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, where he is currently a Professor and PhD Advisor.

His research interests include image processing, biomedical image analysis, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and brain-inspired vision. He has published more than 50 papers in referred international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions, JBHI, JSSC, Pattern Recognition, CVPR, and ACM MM. He won the Best Paper Award in ICIDM 2018, SenseTime Scholar 2019, Innovation Scholar 2019, Champion of IJCAI-PRICAI 2020 3D Instance Segmentation Challenge, Runner-up of CVPR 2021 Streaming Perception Challenge, Runner-up (3rd) of CVPR 2021 4th UG2+ Challenge, and Wang Kuancheng Yucai Award. As a key researcher, Co-PI, or PI, he has participated in and conducted research projects with a total funding of 100 million.
